THE START
‘Mage Orange’ was founded as a start-up in Guwahati, Assam, India, in November 2020.
We started our journey back in 2013 as ‘Techno Green Publication & Technologies,’ a firm dealing in web designing solutions on Magento and WordPress.
In 2016, Luit Store Ecommerce Private Limited, a private company limited by shares, was formed as a joint venture between the CEO of the existing firm and a few others. The new company was primarily formed to sell Information Technology products and services through e-commerce; however, it also backed Techno Green in its existing operations. In the same year, digital marketing along with creative designing was added up to the list of services of ‘Techno Green Publication & Technologies.’ This joint venture has served its creative as well as digital marketing services to many small, medium and big business and helped them scale.
Though the term ‘publication’ has always been present in the name, it was only in late 2020 when we started the book, journal and article publishing services independent of Luit Store Ecommerce Pvt. Ltd. Early in 2020, during the COVID 19 Pandemic, the company ‘Luit Store Ecommerce Pvt. Ltd’ was put to a halt, while Techno Green stopped its creative segment and continued with digital marketing. In November 2020, Techno Green was also closed, and ‘Mage Orange’ with two divisions, ‘Mage Orange Publishers’ & ‘Mage Orange Digital Marketing Co.’, were founded by the previous CEO. Mage Orange is a start-up and owing to the restricted and limited market situation due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, it was in January 2022 when we properly started our services.
OUR VISION
While there are many established players in the print publishing industry, things are different in the digital publishing segment. In the next five to ten years, the market share of digital books is destined to overtake printed books. Presently, there is no established player in this segment yet. In the coming years, we are determined to take an influential position in this segment, producing some bestsellers. We also have revolutionary plans in the academic publishing sector that will be implemented in the future.
WHAT MAKES US SO PASSIONATE ABOUT PUBLISHING?
The difference between a living and a non-living thing is that we have experiences. The difference between a plant and an animal is that we can express our experiences. The difference between an animal and a human being is that we can record our experiences and share them with the World for the building, improvement and destruction of societies. Books serve as a solid medium for this process.

There are many things that can influence societies, namely trade, technology, research, movies, etc. Amongst them, books are the most influential, time-proven, easily penetrable means with the highest lasting effect.

All human beings are bounded by a peculiar kind of mental dictatorship imposed by their partner or family or society or the government or their own nature. The manifestations of this tyranny influence everything a human being thinks or does. Books are the only kind of venture where some humans called Writers breaks absolutely free from this dictatorship.
